• Identify basic parts of a beehive and bee roles
• Learn how bees help flowers grow and food develop
• Observe a live honeybee colony safely
• Develop curiosity and respect for pollinators and nature

Every Traveling Bee visit includes a complimentary digital resource packet sent to teachers after the program.

These materials help extend the learning experience beyond the classroom visit and support science, nature, and pollination lessons.

Program Format

Safety

The honeybees remain inside a fully enclosed observation hive, allowing students to safely observe them while learning.

Educational Focus

The Traveling Bee supports learning about:

• insects

• agriculture and food systems

Teachers will be emailed a digital resource kit after our visit to continue 

Add On Options

🌱 Pollinator Planting Activity – $5 per child

✨ A simple, meaningful way to connect with nature and give back to the bees. A hands-on moment your group will love. During our visit, we’ll plant together using plantable peat pots, soil, and pollinator-friendly seeds.

🍯 Honey Keepsake Kit – $10 per child

Beautifully packaged as a small memento, children receive a small jar of honey, a wooden honey dipper, and a bee charm. This is a lovely way for children to remember their bee experience long after the visit.

🐝 Adopt-a-Bee Experience – $15 per child

✨ A meaningful and memorable keepsake that helps children feel connected to the hive and the important role bees play in our world. Each child receives a plush bee, honey stick, and adoption certificate.

Pollinator Experience Package- $24 per child

The full, hands-on bee experience… all in one. This bundled option includes everything needed to make your visit extra meaningful, interactive, and memorable for each child. Bundles all add-ons at an irresistable value!

🐝 How to Book Your Traveling Bee Experience

Booking your visit is simple, and I’ll walk with you through each step to make sure everything is just right for your group.

1. Reach Out First
Before booking, please message, email, or text/call 919-744-9155 to:

• Check availability, discuss preferred date and time, share any details

This helps ensure your experience is tailored perfectly to your group.

2. Secure Your Booking
Once we’ve confirmed availability, you can complete your booking through the listing:

• Select the appropriate group size option
  

👉 Important: Add-ons pricing is per child. 
Supply deposit will be due upon booking, and remainder may be paid day of event. (This allows add-on fees to be passed along to parents and reconciled later.)

3. Order Confirmation
After checkout, I will personally reach out to:

• Confirm your booking was received, finalize details, setup, and expectations, answer any last questions, and confirm any add-on packages

4. Enjoy Your Experience
On the day of your visit, I’ll bring everything needed for a hands-on, engaging bee experience your group will love. 

5. Continued Learning
After our visit, you’ll receive a FREE digital resource packet filled with activities, printables, and educational materials to continue the learning at home or in your group.
